Current Information:Age-19 "Carlton House," Redbridge Lane, Ilford Lapugnoy Military Cemetery, France 23rd Royal Fusiliers landed in France in November, 1915, as part of 99 Brigade, 33rd Division but within a few days the brigade had transferred to 2nd Division. In June, 1916, 2nd Division were holding the line at Souchez, just to the north of Arras. Charles Murray died of wounds on 16th June, 1916, but as yet there is no information as to when and where he was wounded. |
